Mike McClelland, AIF®

As Director of Business Development for 401k Advisors-Chicago, Mike is entrusted with increasing our brand exposure and building our business.  He is responsible for delivering retirement plan solutions to our partners and clients utilizing our proprietary tools.

Mike has spent over 22 years marketing various retirement plan products and services. During that time, he spent more than 10 years as a Regional Pension Manager for a national retirement plan provider in Chicago. He is a registered investment advisor representative and holds a Series 7, 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation.  Mike offers a wealth of experience and knowledge in retirement plan design, fiduciary practices, investment due-diligence process and plan expense analysis. His long career with 401(k) providers offers our clients a keen insight to how their retirement plan products are structured, serviced and priced.

Mike is a graduate of Drake University, with a BSBA degree. While at Drake, he played on the varsity golf team and was the University's Veterans Affairs Representative. Mike is a proud veteran and served honorably in the US Army as a medic.
